Myspace Questions
1. How do I insert myspace code?
In order to place your player on you myspace site follow these steps:
- 1st Logon to your player.
- 2nd Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the easy install option.
- 3rd use either the easy install option by inserting your myspace username and password or copy the embedd.
- 4th if you want to manually paste the code logon to your myspace page and select edit profile.
- 5th In any place where text can be inserted paste the code, the most popular place to copy and paste code is the about me section. You may place the code where you would like as long as there is a text box to insert the code.
- 6th Make sure that you save any changes that you make to your myspace page.
2. Does anybody on my myspace page have access to my favorites and playlists?
The code that you download to you player will only allow you to edit your Myspace page from any computer where you have logged onto your player from the Dizzler homepage. This player will be able to save songs to playlists and favorites. This player is great for a Myspace page or website because only you can modify and change anything without anybody having those same privileges. If you are sharing computers and someone logs into your Myspace page they will be able to modify the player. If they are using a different computer they will NOT have modifying capabilities.
3. How can I change the playlist and background on the player on my myspace page?
You can automatically change the player on your my space account by simply clicking the save option on the customize page. Your player will change on your myspace automatically. All songs that are changed on your playlist will be added to your myspace account automatically if they are changed from your personal player account.
Tagged Questions
4. How do I insert my player on Tagged?
Dizzler has just teamed up with www.Tagged.com! This partnership will allow Tagged users the best free streaming music player on the internet. Now it's even easier to put the player on your Tagged page and sign up. Follow these steps in order to place your player on your Tagged page:
- Logon to your Tagged page and select the "my profile" button at the top left of the page (If you have not created a Tagged page what are you waiting for?)
- Select the add a widget in the about me section of your profile.
- Select the music option tab at the left of the page then select the Dizzler logo or button that appears
- From here there are two options: the first is to sign up as a current user, and the second is as a new user
- If you are a current Dizzler user then insert your e-mail address and password and you will have the player automatically installed on the page
- If you are a new user select the new user button
- After this insert your e-mail address and a password and select the next button when you have finished
- On the next page insert your nickname, gender, birthday, zip code. and music genre. Select next when you have finished
- The last step needed is to select the box to agree to Dizzler's terms and conditions
- After completing these steps and selecting the activate button the player will be installed on your Tagged page.
Facebook Questions
5. How do I insert the player on my Facebook Page
Dizzler has just teamed up with facebook and made installing the player even easier. Please follow these steps in order to install your personal player on your facebook page.
- 1st Logon to your Facebook profile page
- 2nd Insert the Text "Dizzler" the search box at the top left of the page
- 3rd Select the Dizzler media player link located in the Dizzler box
- 4th Select the Add Application option that is located to the right of the page
- 5th Select the add Dizzler Media Player box
- 6th After you complete this step you will see the Dizzler media player appear on your profile
- 7th Follow the directions that are on the Dizzler Activation Screen
Friendster Questions
6. How do I insert the player on Friendster page
In order to insert the player on your Friendster page follow these steps
- Logon to your personal player at www.Dizzler.com
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the easy install option
- From here you can either use the easy install option or the manually copy and paste the embed
- If you choose to manually paste the embed go to your Friendster page and select the edit profile option
- Scroll down and paste the code in one of the text boxes at the bottom of the page (we suggest the about me option)
- Make sure that you save any changes that you make to your page
Music Questions
7. Can I listen to Music on my stereo?
You can simply plug your laptop or computer's audio output into a stereo input. You may need to get a cable to do that. They usually cost less than ten dollars at Radio Shack. Apple Airport users might find Airfoil useful. Airfoil is a great tool that allows you to stream audio from your browser (or any other application) to an airport. Try it out and see if works for you: Airfoil for Mac and PC
8. How do I find a specific song?
Dizzler is a media player that plays free streaming music, video, and games. Occasionally a specific song may not be available. You can try looking for the song under the song title, cd title, and the group's or artist's name. Dizzler has access to millions of songs and artists just keep searching!
9. How do I make my music autoplay?
In order to put music on auto play follow these simple steps:
- First select the songs that you like by clicking on the heart on the right of each song (These songs will be saved to your playlist)
- Second click on my playlist at the left of the page, you may need to select the music icon in order to return to the music page of your player
- At the top right of your playlist the menu button will allow you to set your playlist to autoplay. (My playlist auto plays your favorite songs!)
10. How do I make the player automatically play a song when people come to my site?
Follow these steps to set a song as a default:
- First select the song which you want to play.
- Second click on the menu button at the top right of your player.
- Third click on set as default song. This will allow you to have this song playing when you or anyone log on to your player.
11. How do I erase a song that I selected as my default song?
Follow these steps to change or remove your default song:
- First click on the menu button at the top right of your player.
- Second select remove default media. This will eliminate the song or video from being set to default.
12. How do I get music on my playlist?
Songs can be added to your playlist by following these steps:
- First search for the artist or song that you want to add to your playlist
- Second click on the heart at the right of the song, this will automatically add the song to your playlist where you can save and listen to your music!
13. How do I get rid of some of the songs on my playlist?
Songs can be eliminated from your playlist by using the my favorites option.
Follow these steps in order to delete the songs from your playlist:
- First click on my favorites at the left of your player, you may need to select the music icon in order to return to the music page of your player
- Second click on the red X to eliminate any song that you would not like on your player.
- (If you wish to eliminate a song temporarily select the green checkmark)
14. How do I set my Playlist as default
Follow these steps to set your playlist to default:
- First select my playlist at the left of your player.
- Second click on the menu button at the top right of your player.
- Third click on set this screen to default. This will allow you to have the playlist page appear first when you or anyone log on to your player.
-Fouth Select the menu option and set your playlist to autoplay. This will set your playlist to play automatically when you logon to your player.
15. Is there a way to shuffle my playlist?
The Dizzler Team has just improved the favorites and playlist options for everyone!
On the player we have installed a random or shuffle button at the top left of the player. This option along with the favorites feature on your player will give you more freedom. Follow these steps to activate the shuffle option:
- First select my playlist at the left of your player
- Second click on the shuffle button at the top left of your player
(this button is to the immediate right of the back button)
- While this button is highlighted orange your playlist will be set to shuffle.
16. How do you/or can you Burn cd's or upload on dizzler?
Dizzler is a free music player where you can listen to free streaming music, radio, watch videos, and play games. Burning, uploading, and downloading music is a functionality that Dizzler does not allow due to copyright restraints. However you can use Dizzler to play the free streaming music anytime anywhere with no problems. Please feel free to save music to your favorites and play lists in order to enjoy your favorite tunes whenever you want.

Dizzler is a free media player that plays free streaming music, radio, video, and games. Dizzler offers a way to access free media content on the web as safely and easily as possible without any SPYWARE, ADWARE or storage constraints. All you need is access to the internet and our free media player. You can either access the Flash version of our free media player or download the Dizzler Media Player application

19. What is required to use the Dizzler Media Player?
All you need is a computer with access to the internet. Some flash programs may have to be downloaded all of them are FREE and can be found at this site www.adobe.com.
20. Is the Dizzler Media Player free?
Yes! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is FREE to you (Dizzler is supported solely by advertising). In the future, Dizzler may add paid Premium Services, but all the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on the Dizzler site will remain FREE!
21. Why download the full version of the Dizzler Media Player?
Downloading the full version of Dizzler's revolutionary technology gives you an all access pass into all of the digital media on the web. This means you will be able to enjoy millions of songs, videos, games and radio stations. It will also allow you to fully personalize your player and create play lists and favorites.
22. I am having trouble downloading my player to my desktop.
The first step should be to make sure that the desktop player that you downloaded to your computer is in fact YOUR player and not the code from the default player that is on the www.Dizzler.com page. This is a very common mistake. The best way to install a player onto your computer is using the download my player option to the right of your player once you have logged onto your personal player. You will not be able to play games, listen to radio, or search for music and video if you are NOT connected to the internet.
23. What about advertising?
The free version of Dizzler is supported with advertising, which we'll ramp up over the next few months. Please email all inquiries to sales@dizzler.com.
24. Can I rip off Dizzler's concept?
All of Dizzler's technology is copyrighted and patent protected. Dizzler does not permit downloading or file sharing of copyrighted material (see our "Infringement Notification").
25. Are there any tutorials on this site?
Dizzler is constantly updating and adding new features. We have just added new tutorials in order to make using your player that much easier. Click on the option feature on your player and then click on the help option. Here there is a video and a tutorial to help you with the most basic features of your Dizzler Player.
Radio Questions
26. Why can't I find my favorite station?
Not all radio stations currently stream their feed on the Internet, but most now do. If you are trying to get a specific station, drop us a line at sales@dizzler.com
Video Questions
27. Why do I see a YouTube or other sight's logo when I play video?
The Dizzler Media Player finds the best versions of the videos you seek. Often these are on a video file sharing sight like YouTube.
28. How do I set a video as default?
Follow these steps to set a video as a default:- First select the video which you want to play.
- Second select the menu button at the top right of your player.
- Third select the set as default media. This will allow you to have this video playing when you or anyone logs on to your player.
29. How do I set a video to default in full screen?
Follow these steps to set a video to default in full screen
- Select the video that you want to play
- Select the menu option and place the video on full screen
- Select the set as default video
These steps must be followed in this order or the process may not function properly
30. Can I upload Video?
You can now use the my youtube favorites feature in order to upload videos to your Dizzler player. This is an advanced Dizzler feature so take your time and make sure that you follow the steps correctly. Follow these steps to upload videos to Dizzler:
1st You will have to create a youtube account in order to create a link for the videos
2nd Once you have created your youtube account search and save up to ten videos to your favorites on youtube
3rd Logon to your Dizzler Player
4th Select the my profile option
5th Enter your youtube username and select update.
6th from here select the video option and you can now see the videos that were on your youtube favorites on your Dizzler player!
Game Questions
31. Why can't I find my favorite game?
Every day, every minute, every second (well, most seconds) Dizzler's servers are searching for, finding, indexing and listing more music, radio, video and game content. Check back soon if you can't find what you are looking for or email us at sales@dizzler.com
32. It still won't let me play games?
You may need to enable popups in your internet browser. Some internet browsers do not allow popups to appear from all websites.
About Accounts
33. Can you put your own background on it?
In order to add your own picture on your player follow these steps:
- First click on the customize your player link at the right of the page.
- Second click on the background option at the top of the page.
- Third click the browse option at the bottom of the page.
- Here you can use your own image for the background.
- Also select any of the skins at the right of the page or scroll through the background options at the bottom of the page.
- After your finished select the save button at the top right of the page.
34. Help! I forgot my password
No problem! You can send yourself a password reminder from the login screen. Just click the "I forgot my password link". To access the login screen, click the "Account" button then the "Log in." If you have an AOL e-mail account contact Support@Dizzler.com to have your password sent directly to your e-mail account.
35. Why can't I create an account?
Please send us an email to Support@Dizzler.com describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete as well as the error you received.
36. Why do you need to know my age?
Users must be at least 14 to join. According to the TOS, if a user is under 18 and misrepresenting their age, the account may be deleted. If you have sighted a user under 14 years of age on www.Dizzler.com, please contact us with the URL and we will remove it. If you are trying to remove your own child's account, please work with your child to remove the account. Once you are logged into www.Dizzler.com, select Cancel Account at the bottom of the page. All you will have to do is enter the e-mail address and password and the account will be cancelled. If you are unable to follow these steps please contact Support@Dizzler.com and we will be glad to cancel the account for you.
37. Why do you need to know my zip code?
We are in the process of organizing advertising and promotional events around the country. As such, we would like to know where our members are situated so we can plan accordingly.
38. Why do you need to know my email address?
We use your email address as an account name to make it easier for you to remember your login when you return to the site.
39. How do I change my password?
You can change your password using the my profile option. Please logon to your personal player and select the my profile button at the right of the page. From here scroll down and select the change password link. Follow the steps to change your current password.
About Subscriptions
40. What do I get when I subscribe?
You get the opportunity to customize and enjoy the Dizzler media player on your desktop or favorite website. You will have access to the feature upgrades and the community website.
41. How much music can I upload?
Bands can upload up to 100 Megs of there own music.
42. Can my band use Dizzler?
Here at Dizzler We agree 100% that independent artists have to work even harder than most in order to demonstrate the sweat and blood that goes into every note, rhythm, and lyric!. Once somebody signs up as a BAND they have permission to download their own songs onto their player. We support independent artists, Dizzler is a great way to show everyone what you and this player can do together!
We would of course love to see any links to websites and especially free streaming music!
43. Can I upload my band's music?
Band members are permitted to upload a limited amount of their own music. Please note that you are not allowed to upload copyrighted materials without the express written consent of the copyright owner's permission. Anyone caught violating copyright laws will be removed.
44. How many people at a time can I email my player out too?

47. Is the Dizzler Player free?

48. Why am I hearing choppy playback with all the audio?
This could happen if your connection is generally slow (for example, if you access via a modem) or if your LAN or Internet connection is congested or is at capacity. Dizzler requires connection speed of at least 500 Kbps to stream our high quality audio content. While listening, you may need to avoid bandwidth consuming activities like large file downloads and online gaming to ensure smooth playback. For a rough estimate of the performance of your connection you can use this website:
Connection Speed Test
The results should look something like this:

Your upload speed: 452 kbps or 56.5 KB/sec.
Geography can also play a role in audio playback quality. Audio problems can also occur when you use older versions of the Flash player. You can download the latest version here: Flash Download
Your computer's speed could be an issue. If you are using an older machine, there may not be enough memory or CPU resources to properly buffer and play back streaming audio while running a Flash applicationt. If you are using an older machine, you may need to keep other resource-intensive applications to a minimum when using Dizzler.
If you're listening from work, sometimes IT departments decide to limit their user's access to music streaming services like Dizzler. If you're having problems with audio breakup when you listen from the office, you may want to check with your IT department to make sure that they haven't blocked your access to streaming services.
