Richard David James (born 18 August 1971), better known by his moniker Aphex Twin, is an electronic music artist who has been described as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music". He founded the electronic record label Rephlex Records in 1991 with friend Grant Wilson-Claridge.
