In 2008, He released his debut album Colby O and his single "What You Got" featuring Akon reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. Colby O'Donis was born in Queens on March 14, 1989. He is of Guyanese and Puerto Rican descent. O'Donis's talent was discovered at age 3 when he won first place at a talent show by singing a Michael Jackson song. He would also perform at his father's flea market in his neighborhood.
