Dave Matthews Band (sometimes shortened to DMB) is an American rock band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. Members include singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, violinist Boyd Tinsley, and drummer Carter Beauford.
