David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American pop singer-songwriter from Murray, Utah who was the runner-up on the seventh season of American Idol. Prior to Idol, Archuleta won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition at ten years old which led him to other television singing appearances. When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2. Archuleta's self-titled debut album was released on November 11, 2008 through Jive Records and it debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album has sold over 725,000 copies in the United States and over 900,000 copies worldwide. On August 12, 2008, the first single off his major label debut album, "Crush", was released. The song landed on #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 as its highest peak position. "A Little Too Not Over You" was released as the second single followed by "Touch My Hand" being released as the third single.

i usually dont listen to this kind of music but i love this song. when his cd first came out,i use to listen to this one song at least 5 times back to back. i havent even listened to the other songs on the cd, i dont even know what else is on there. i just brough the cd for that one lil song!!! but thats okay cause I LOVE IT!!!
