Jason Collett is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born in Bramalea, Ontario and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School. He performs both as a solo artist and as a member of Broken Social Scene. Collett started in music as a member of Andrew Cash's band. He subsequently took time off from music to raise his children, and returned in 2000 with the album Chrome Reflection, which was credited to Bird, a band consisting of Collett, Cash and Hawksley Workman, with additional contributions from Lenni Jabour, Josh Finlayson and Gavin Brown.   Wikipedia
