The Academy Is... is a band based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. They were originally known as "The Academy", but added the "Is..." in 2004, to avoid legal complications with other established bands already going under that name. They are signed to record label Fueled by Ramen and have released two full albums, Almost Here and Santi, and are preparing to release their third album, Fast Times at Barrington High, in August 2008. It was a plane ride from LAX to O'hare,

i love this band. def. in my top 5 bands. they need to have more of their songs on here
yeah their good but they do need some work i think they have alot more songs then that is here cause i had one of the albums and your rite William beckets voice is awsome but need more songs!
