there are people making good music. I cant stand the new bullshit. we need more bands like these guys
See them live, it's incredible.
The Flamin Lips, to me, were increadible until somewhere around '99 when they're guitarist, Ronald, left. Which still doesnt account for Wayne's change in songwriting. He's still great, but it seems like he's lost some of the strangeness and soul that used to be evident in his songs. Flaming lips has made my favorite music (hands down (ever)) before, but now they're music is less than awe inspiring.
