Papathanssiou), is a world renowned, Greek composer of electronic, new age and classical music and musical performer, under the artist name Vangelis Papathanassiou (???????? ????????????) or just Vangelis (a diminutive of Evangelos; pronounced /væn?g?l?s/ in English). A frequent mispronunciation is with a soft g, as in gin .
