Wilson Pickett (March 18, 1941 – January 19, 2006) was an American R&B/Rock and Roll and soul singer and songwriter known for his raw, raspy, passionate vocal delivery. A major figure in the development of American soul music, Pickett recorded over 50 songs which made the US R&B charts, and frequently crossed over to the pop charts as well. Among his best known hits are "In The Midnight Hour" (which he co-wrote), "Land of 1,000 Dances", "Mustang Sally", and "Funky Broadway". The impact of Pickett's songwriting and recording led to his 1991 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wikipedia

I'm gonna wait till the midnight hour That's when my love comes a-tumbling down I'm gonna wait till the midnight hour When there's nobody else around I'm gonna take you girl and hold you Do all the things I told you In the midnight hour Yes I am
I'm gonna wait till the stars come out And see that twinkle in your eyes I'm gonna wait till the midnight hour That when my love begins to shine 'Cause you're the only girl I know That can really love me so In the midnight hour
Hi Guys.., Are we "Soul-mates" now !? I'm 60 and still love this real Soul-music. Back In Time With Good Memories.
Now this is music no jabber just great music
i love all your music and this was when my mom was a kid
I can relate to this song.
